First off, let me apologize for my lack of blogging this week. I’ve been traveling again and now I’m in South Carolina for a family wedding. Think lots of Filipinos, lots of booze, and lots of “Kristina, please, put away your phone” from my parents. Starting today I’m adhering to the no technology rule.
Back to the big announcement… I’m hosting my first Twitter chat on teaching in Spain– #perdidachat !!!
I’m teaming up with my two guests, Cat of Sunshine and Siestas & Hayley of COMO Consulting. Both are Americans who figured out how to live in Spain long-term! They wrote an excellent Moving to Spain eBook. It’s almost the first day of school in Spain and that means auxiliares are on their way to their to settle into their new life in Spain. We’ll be discussing the “Pre-departure to Spain.” Even if you’re already in Spain, it’ll be a space on Twitter for auxiliares to connect and talk about the big move. The chat starts 3pm CST and 10pm Spain time.
Wait, what’s a Twitter chat?
A Twitter chat is a conversation centered around one topic, usually lasting for one hour. You use a special hashtag (#perdidachat) so you can follow the chat and participate. I’ll write questions like Q1, Q2 and you answer A1, A2… Follow me on Twitter so you can see the questions during the chat. Hope to see you there!
